Spotlight on Aunties

Over the first two weeks of March, we, the students of Grade 7 worked on something rather special. It all started when Baljeet Ma’am, our English teacher, informed us of a project we were going to be working on. We were all very excited when we found out what it was. We were going to be interviewing the aunties, the caretakers of the school. This project was a follow up activity based on the topic we were doing in English which was writing a biographical sketch. Through a lot of work and dedication, we were able to gather sufficient information to write biographical sketches on them. The aunties were happy to answer our questions and give us a little insight into their daily lives. For all the hard work and care they put into their jobs, they deserve the spotlight!
