Our teachers create an environment where children are willing and able to work collaboratively, where there are plenty of opportunities and stimulating contexts for them to work with others, and where they feel safe to share their emerging ideas and understandings.
It allows children to exhibit their previous knowledge on the topic and empowers them and other learners in his/her group to explore the topic in a playful, yet purposeful way.
Unlike teacher presentations, Collaborative activities removes the boundaries of knowledge imparted.
Activities for collaborative learning at Deens are Group problem solving and presentations, think -pair share, Roleplay skit presentations etc.
